Meet Michele Peterson, LCSW

You’re already stronger than you think you are.

A woman with short dark hair wearing a pink top with ruffled sleeves, smiling and standing against a white wall.

If you are looking for a safe and caring place to heal…

You’re in the right place.

I’m here to help you understand your story

I am Michele and I have been a licensed therapist for 30 years. I am a wife and a mother. I am a believer that we are all inherently connected.

My work as a therapist includes working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of setting. I have worked with the Navy and Marine Corps assisting active duty and veterans. I have worked in residential treatment with adolescent girls. Through my career, I have learned that everyone has individual needs in therapy. I am focused on providing an individualized therapy experience to everyone that I work with.

My style

I believe that “when you are brave enough to explore the darkness you discover the infinite power of your light”

- Brené Brown

My style of therapy includes building a trusting relationship in order to provide a safe space. I offer support along with offering direction.

I believe that therapy is helpful when there are clear goals that one wants to accomplish.

I use my extensive training in trauma informed therapy styles to help you process what needs to be processed.
